Intended for the exchange of ideas, concepts, and contacts, the DSM Conference 2007 provides numerous occasions to discuss topics and gain a better understanding of how complexity management is currently being addressed. Besides sessions and breaks, a social program completes the three days' conference.

Get-together prior to conference

For all participants arriving the day before the conference, an informal get-together is planned to meet old friends and colleagues and to get to know new participants more closely. Conveniently located in the old part of Schwabing, one of Munich's most famous quarters, the get-together will be held at one of the city's oldest beer gardens and restaurants.

Social on the first conference day

To informally get to know each other and discuss the first day's presentations, a social, held at the venue of the conference, will close the first day of the conference. A Bavarian buffet and drinks will be offered.

Dinner on the second conference day

Being a well known highlight of the Munich skyline, the television tower in the Olympic park offers stunning views over Munich and the nearby Alps (weather permitting). Situated next to the facilities built for the Olympic Games held in Munich in 1972, the television tower has become a major landmark. Hosting a restaurant that revolves 360 degrees every 49 minutes

Oktoberfest

The Oktoberfest will be held from 22th September 2007 until 7th October 2007. As hotel prices are notably higher during this time, the organizers decided to run this year's DSM Conference only ten days after the Oktoberfest. If you intend to arrive a few days earlier, we highly recommend to book your accommodation as early as possible.

Munich and its surroundings

The city of Munich is well known for both its economic strength and its high recreational value. Numerous sights, cultural and sports events, and the beautiful surroundings, including the Alps mountains and the beautiful nearby lakes make the city a most attractive destination for many travelers. Day drips to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle and to Salzburg are common day excursions not to be missed. Ultimately, good food and beverages are further famous elements of what the city has to offer.
