MODELING AND MANAGING

COMPLEX SYSTEMS

‘industry Special Interest Group’ (iSIG) Formation around a proposed Complex System Architecture (CSA) Roundtable Discussion

Preceding the 17th DSM Conference ,4 November 2015, Fort Worth, Texas, US, 3:00-4:45pm

Participants: Product Development, Manufacturing, and Solution Providers and representatives from any other industry function with an interest in modeling and managing complexity.

At an Industry Day workshop preceding the 2014 DSM Conference in Paris , France, a concept was proposed after the session, to create a global industry-wide non-denominational Special Interest Group, dedicated to developing and updating requirements for use by solution providers to industry’s complex systems integration challenges. Since then a Concept paper has evolved based on contributions from various industry contacts.

Immediately preceding this year’s DSM Conference at Fort Worth, Texas, Industry professionals and Solution Providers, are invited to a Roundtable Discussion that will further explore the feasibility of a global ‘iSIG’ organization, dedicated to the Complexity System Architecture (CSA) described in September 2015 version of the ‘iSIG’ Concept Paper.
